Awesome place with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and helpful staff. They assisted me with early check-in during my first stay. I highly recommend it and am excited to come back for Christmas!

Let me tell you a little bit about our stay at this hotel! We were here from March 23 to 26 with a group of students (10 people). We had a tourist trip, so we wanted to see as much as possible. location is convenient: one subway station in 5 minutes walk, second in 10 minutes. You can get to the center without interruptions in 30 minutes, with one (depending on where exactly). staff is very polite, we asked many questions - they answered everything, tried to help. room is very cozy, clean venue, everything is like in the photo! In the bathroom there were some accessories, towels, hair dryer, glasses. I expected the worst, only thing that the room is small (but this is a feature of all hotels of this level in Paris). It was cleaned every day! It was surprising too, because I read absolutely different reviews. The breakfasts were delicious. croissants and baguettes were great! In general. despite the drawbacks, I definitely recommend this hotel,
Since we stopped by for 4 nights, 3 morning breakfast of croissants, baguettes and buns is already tired, I would like more variety! Coffee could also be tastier) . No elevator. We lived on the 5th floor (our 6th floor) and it was hard to climb every time (even for young people), but since we left in the morning for the whole day and came back in the evening - it was not so tense. We can be patient. But if you travel with the kids, it can be difficult. Hearing. You can hear who does what in the next room and who talks about what! There's a problem with soundproofing.

Fairly clean, great value hotel, its location was particularly good and very close to metro and pere-lachaise cemetery. The rooms with Wi-Fi, clean towels ect plus cheap perfume.
There was no elevator.

The location is excellent, the Bastille Square is about 15 minutes away (from the Bastille you can walk to Notre Dame (about 30 minutes), from there to the Louvre about 15 minutes, then to the Champs Elysees and to the Eiffel Tower, there is also a metro nearby. The room is small as on the photo (for two people it's basically okay), but there were cozy windows to the floor (like a mini balcony).Breakfast is purely French - croissant, loaf, chocolate bun and confit bun served butter and jam + coffee with milk or chocolate to choose from, orange juice.
First of all, hearing ... if you have a sensitive sleep and we wake up from any noise - then the hotel is definitely not for you, but if you're lucky with the neighbors, then you're GOING! At night and on the street is loud (because there are bars nearby).secondly, the absence of elevator (it is typical for Paris, but also minus) 5 floors still, ask on the lower floor, if you have difficulty to walk. thirdly, the absence of a mirror in the room (only in the bathroom).Fourthly, there was no TV remote control. Fifthly, there was no sockets (there was only one in the room). Our friend lived in a room for one - and if you are not sure about his slenderness, it is better not to take such a room, because in the bathroom could hardly fit:).

24-hour reception! This is very important as 90% of all seats in Paris that we looked at did not check in after 10pm. The hotel is located in the historic city centre just a few minutes walk from the Per Lachaise metro station. Most of the sights are no more than 5 minds, which in the context of the big city means "very close" - we walked everywhere. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathroom is clean, there is always hot water and excellent pressure in the shower, good view from the window.
Despite the fact that the room was cleaned every day, for its week (!) Linen was not changed once, as well as sweeping poor quality or not every day. Above the third floor there are no thermal heads on radiators to regulate the temperature in the room: the first night froze, then turned to the counter and we turned on the heating to the maximum with a wrench. There was no possibility to regulate it and it was very hot on the other days. The stairs in the hotel are very steep, climbing up to the top with suitcases can be difficult (especially if they are large). At the time of booking the card was charged one night as a guarantee of arrival (pre-authorization fee), at the time of our departure the money was never refunded.

4 hotels n Paris the last few weeks, and this may raye at the top. OK, so i go for lower costs places, but for 60/ nit, this was a good bang for the buck. The room itself was one of the nicer ones. Hardwood floors, corner molding, ceilng rose. Defo class. Nice paint scheme too. The bed was comfortable. Very. Pillows too. Bathroom was clean. Double glazed wndows, so no real street noise until thngs get going in this aa, like 830 or 9 in the morning. Decent selction of places to eat. I went for the litle Italian place almost right acros the road, but some higher end places not far either.
An elevator would have been nice.

Very nicely decorated rooms, high level of decoration and very nice beds and bedding. Theres lots of pattiseries / boulangeries literally on the door steps.
Whilst I understand this is quite an English complaint, we had to walk up five flights of very steep stairs as there was no elevator. There was a small patch of mould on the shower and you had to leave your key with the hotel staff every time you left the hotel. How ever we thouroughly enjoyed our stay and its location is perfect for hopping the metro to the city centre

Arriving at this hotel, I did not expect what is not normal. Staff very nice and the people at the front desk are very kind.
But the rooms were small and drab, the shower didn't work and the electric socket was loose and there were few facilities. I am therefore unable to recomend the Modern Hotel.

The hotel accommodation was a very reasonable price. The location was perfect for me as I wanted to be in the Pere Lachaise area. It was also very clean and not too noisy.
I would have liked to buy a drink of coffee in the hotel, or have drink making facilities in the room (kettle, sugar sachets, milk sachets, tea bags/coffee sachets) I would also have liked to pay for wireless interent by the hour. I would have been willing to pay 1 Euro for one hours connection once every few days.

The hotel itself is not bad, the staff were friendly and always help. Room quite spacious. The bed was a small double bed, but was very clean. It's also in a very noisy part of town. The metro was easy to figure out and was only about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Location is not very good, because even on the 5 floor can hear what is happening on the street and i wouldn't stay there again.

The location was good - minutes from the Place de Clichy Metro, where you can get into the centre easily. The hotel staff is ready to help. The breakfast was the usual croissant, bread, jam and yogurt with good coffee ect. I do not understand why everybody is so critical writing about this hotel, quite a normal hotel, with decent living conditions.

The location was quiet, very close to eateries, various metro stations, and many bakeries, in a safe area. Before bed I went to Express Bar for a nightcap, it's near the hotel.

Me with my boyfriend wanted to stay in this hotel for 2 nights. Our room was on the top floor and then came the problem with an elevator, because it is fitted only one person. Conditions were terrible. I do not recommend this hotel for a rest or just sleep.
